Focus T25 Review - Day 6

CURRENT WEIGHT: 65.8 kg (-1.7 kg)

WAIST LINE: 34 inches (-2 inches)

Today is my day 6 for the 70-day Focus T25 which is the best day because it is the rest day!! The the first 5 weeks is called the alpha phase and the next 5 weeks  is called the beta phase.

So every seven days there would be 5 days of work out, 1 day of rest and then 1 day stretch.
Each workout is 25-minutes long with 3 minutes of cool down at the end.

This is how the schedule looks like.

The whole alpha phase is made up of only 5 workouts:
  • Cardio
  • Speed 1.0
  • Total Body Circuit
  • Abs Interval
  • Lower Focus
In the first week, I was able to experience all the workouts. Each workout is effing intense! You will feel that it is the longest 25 minutes of your life. Within that 25 minutes there are no water breaks or rests. But the good thing is that there is a modified version which is of lowe impact.

Just like my first few days of doing Insanity before, I wasn't really able to keep up with the exercises. I have to catch my breath and take a break because my muscles are so tired and tense. Also on the fifth day, I am supposed to do two workouts but I am too tired to do the second one.

So this is my routine for the past 5 days. I wake up around 6-630 am. Take my morning supplements then wait for 15 minutes before having a light breakfast. The light breakfast is usually two slices of bread. I wait for another 40 minutes to sort of "digest" the food then I start the 25 minutes of craziness. Then after that I wait for 15 minutes to let the sweating to subside then prepare for work.

But after weighing today and doing some waistline measurement, it feels awesome that I lost almost 2 kg and 2 inches off my waist. This is quite good to think that this week I have been bad, I had two super heavy dinners which made me worried that I wont do any improvements in terms of weight and waistline.

I am excited for Monday cos I want to see how I progress in terms of going through the exercise. So the goal is to try not to stop and nailing the 25 minutes. Of course with the help of doing some modified routine.

I will not be posting any before and after pics yet. I hope after the second week I won't feel too embarrassed.
